    Director of the Macao Translational Medicine Centre, Vice President/Chair Professor/Doctoral Supervisor of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Mechanism and Quality of Chinese Medicine, Recipient of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the Leading Talent of the National High-Level Talent Special Support Programme.

    Professor Yao He’s research focuses on traditional Chinese medicine, artificial intelligence and translational medicine in the field of nano biomedicine, providing new tools and methods for precision diagnosis and treatment of anti-ageing and related major diseases. As a postgraduate supervisor, he has supervised more than 70 postgraduate students to obtain master's/doctoral degrees (some of the graduates has gone on to pursue further studies or take up positions at renowned universities around the globel including Harvard University, the National University of Singapore and Shanghai Jiao Tong University); he has published over 200 academic papers, with more than 20,000 citations; he has granted or applied for more than 30 national patents; and he is the editor-in-chief of a monograph published in English (published by Springer); and his work has been featured in special reports by CCTV-1, CCTV-4, the People’s Daily, China Daily and Nature, among others.

    Major Awards:

    1. 2012, Selected as the member of "Young and Middle-aged Leading Talents in Science and Technology Innovation" in the Frist Innovative Talent Promotion Plan by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China,.
    2. 2013, led the "National Major Scientific Research Programme for Young Scientists", as the principal investigator of the first "Youth 973" project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
    3. 2014, selected as a Leading Talent in Science and Technology Innovation under the National High-level Talents Special Support Programme of the Ministry of Organisation of China (MOOC), i.e., a leading Talent of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Programme".
    4. 2015, awarded "China Youth Leader" (recommended by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China).
    5. 2015, selected as one of the "Top Ten Outstanding Contributors to China's Moderately Prosperous Society".
    6. 2017, "China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award" (ranked first)

    何耀,澳门转化医学中心主任、澳门科技大学副校长/讲座教授/博士生导师、中药机制与质量全国重点实验室副主任、国家杰出青年基金获得者,国家“万人计划”领军人才。何耀教授主要聚焦于中医药、人工智能及纳米生物医药转化医学领域,为抗衰老及相关重大疾病精准诊治提供新工具和新方法。作为研究生导师,已培养70余位研究生获硕士/博士学位(部分毕业生赴哈佛大学、新加坡国立大学、上海交通大学等国内外知名高校深造/任职);已发表学术文章200余篇,论文引用 2万余次;授权/申请国家专利30余项;作为主编出版英文专著1部(出版社:施普林格);相关工作得到CCTV 1、CCTV 4、人民日报、Chinadaily、Nature等专题报道。
